Rainey Welson (2025) North Tartan EYBL
Rainey is the complete package. With her comparison of strength, athleticism and intelligence, she can legitimately play and defend any position. She is so strong off the dribble and has great moves when she gets into the paint whether it’s finishing at the rim or using pivots and footwork. In the open court where she can use her speed and court vision, she’s very tough to guard!
#1 Isabella Brader (2025) Ryze Athletics Van Cleave
Arguably the best player this weekend in the 2025 division as she led Ryze to a 5-0 record and bracket championship. She uses her size to play physical against other guards. She will catch fire from the three point line if you let her catch a rhythm. You absolutely have to know where she is at all times and dedicate your best defender to her. She has a lightning quick release and can get her shot off moving either direction, with her feet set or not. She knows how opponents defend her and she’s dedicated to moving well without the ball to help her cause.
#12 Sammy Russell (2026) Dayton Lady Hoopstars Elite
Her value is tremendous, and obvious, on the court and off. She is an extention of the coach, getting calls from the sideline, getting teammates in place and communicating. When she’s on the bench, she has just as much energy then when she’s on the floor. She is versatile and can play any position, can handle the rock, looks up the floor with the ball and is a pure shooter.
#24 Gia Coates (2029) Midwest Hoops
Gia is a pesky defender out on the perimeter. She has great lateral movement and uses her body to play physically. She is a great athlete and gets up and down the floor fast in transition. She plays with a competitive edge and makes the hustle plays needed to help her team win games. She is a reliable ball handler and can score at the rim.
