JaNiyah is a really tough assignment, defensively. She maneuvers through paint, avoiding contact, as she goes to the basket. She’s extremely tough to stop, in transition. She does a great job of closing out on shooters.

Excels at creating her own shot. Her ball handling skills are exceptional. Plays tight defense with her feet, staying locked onto her assignment. Makes strong, crisp passes with great court vision.

Defensively, does a great job staying in front of her assignment, utilizing her quick feet. She’s a tough interior match-up for most teams, as she has size to go against true post players, while having the agility to get past backcourt defenders when attempting to penetrate.

A top notch defender. Miya has great footwork and quick hands forcing opponents to pick up her dribble or leading them into turnovers. Much like her defense, her offense is fundamentally sound as well. Robinson plays quick while remaining under control. She does a great job of avoiding contact on the interior and does the same when creating space for her jumper.

Paisley is a dominate post presence. Protects the rim with her strength and ability to time her block attempts without fouling. Does really well boxing out around the rim. She excels in a help defender role.

A superb defender! She remains attached to her assignment like a shadow. Forces ball handlers into situations in which they have to pick up their dribble or she steers them into traps.

Charlie is an interior “bucket getter”. A tough assignment for any girl to guard. She’ll pull a nice spin move out of her bag, when protecting the basketball en route to the paint. Plays strong, fundamental defense. Has the ability to guard and contain ball handlers in the open court. She is strong on boards, consistently going after rebounds.

A tough nosed player, with a constant motor. Has the ability to guard most types of players. Utilizes her quick hands to disrupt offenses. She is always one of the first players down the floor in transition, giving her team easy opportunities to score and halting opponents from doing the same thing.
