Taylor is such an underrated and underseen post player. She was unbelievable in Tampa, as good as any post player there, in any grade! She’s a solid inch or two over 6’, built so well, and moves so well! She is a defensive force that can guard on the perimeter and hold her own in the paint. She rebounds so well, and has an impact on every shot in the post. She runs so well, sprints in transition and is always aware of where the ball is. This kid is going to D2 Anderson and she will absolutely be a national force from day one at that level, she’s got Power 5 written all over her!

Very skilled and fundamental guard. Very good shooter, plays with nice poise and never gets hurried or flustered. She does an exceptional job of getting into the paint and using defenders athleticism or undisciplined nature against them. She does this using great footwork, ball fakes, shot fakes, pivots and more! Very nice touch on shots in the lane, solid passer and never plays outside of herself or forces anything.

Really love this kids energy and skill set. She’s set to go to North Florida and her diverse skill set will help her see the floor. Not only does she play with a lot of energy, she can play inside or out. She is a very advanced passer for her size and position, which is a huge asset. She passes out of the post very well and always finds open shooters. She’s exceptional playing in the high post where she can put it on the floor and finish either hand, shoot with nice touch, or pass.

We’ve seen this young lady a lot this month, and it was time to give her her flowers. The lefty post just out works everyone, to the point of frustration and annoyance of the opponent. No one works harder to get post position, and her post moves are intense. She is so intense that most defenders don’t want any part of it. She moves so well in short bursts around the court and gets after every single rebound and loose ball. She scores well around the rim and has as good of post moves as anyone. Plays with a lot of emotion, sometimes it can get the best of her, but you can’t help but appreciate it.

Such a well rounded player, and so impressive at her age. She has an incredible feel for the game and IQ. She has really nice touch on her jumper, and does a really nice job getting into the paint and pulling up. She elevates so well that no matter how big the post is, they can’t stop her from scoring. She also shows great body control while finishing. As seen in her photo, she takes defense very seriously and puts just as much energy into that end of the floor!

This kid was lights out in the game we watched and man Virginia Tech is getting a great one! Her catch and shoot is top of the line, she always comes off screens ready to shoot. She has great hands, and awesome footwork that put her in a great position to fire off quick contested shots. She has range, she can go deeper if she has to, and she is very comfortable being closely guarded. She has really good length and is a very solid rebounder and defender as well.

Such a spectacular young player! Such an exciting combination of a shooter and a slasher. She is long and so quick, but she also adds nice one on one moves and shifty movements to be an elite attacker. She is a very advanced shooter at this point, but sometimes forgets that she is so unstoppable off the dribble and relies on the jumper too much. As she gets older that outside game will continue to evolve and she may have develop into a scary outside shot creator.

Hession has phenomenal athleticism and plays with absolute lack of fear. She attacks off the dribble and takes it right at any big, despite not being the biggest or strongest. She is a blur in transition and has a big time knack for bee-lining to the rim from anywhere on the floor. She has a variety of finishing moves at the rim from great body control, explosion off the floor, to unpredictability.

The always reliable future UCONN PG was special at this event. She seemed to take more of a scoring role, getting into the paint repeatedly, not being selfish, but making great decisions. Other times this month when we’ve seen her she was in a passive facilitating type mode. Not in Tampa, she was showing out! Played with lots of passion and helped lead her squad to the title.
