A versatile scorer. She does a great job maneuvering through the paint avoiding contact enroute to scoring. Also, has a quick release on her perimeter shot which must be respected by defenders. Handles the ball well with good court vision. Her footwork and length make keeping her off the boards a tough task.
Makes accurate mobile passes. Has a great jumper which is really on display when stepping into her shot, in transition.
Vastly skilled guard. Handles pressure well. Good passer, who is sure to feed her teammates in the most opportune situations. While she contains a crisp jumper, she can also go in her bag of handles to penetrate the basketball.
Great perimeter shooter, with quick release. Also, has a solid jab-step that is sure to create space for her jumper anywhere on the floor. Possesses a great turn around jumper, as well.
Creates instant offense w/ her floor running ability. Has great court vision, feeding her teammates the basketball at the best situations
Does a great job absorbing contact, finishing strong around the basket. Makes up for her lack of size by reading misses really well to garner the rebound.
Melody is bigger and stronger than last year and it shows in her game. She can handle physical play better, allowing her to compliment her shifty type of play. She is very successful coming off high screens and has become more vocal while also extending her range!
Jordyn plays the game at such a high level. She showed that she has a very advanced game with her back to the basket and in the high post. She does a great job disrupting passing lanes and forcing turnovers in transition. Consistently finishes strong at the basket through contact. She’s just a very high impact kid all over the floor.
Savvy has spent some time rehabbing a knee injury, but you’d never know. She asserted her dominance against another highly rated future All-American. She was absolute money from deep! She is very good playing out of the the high post where she can turn into a very good facilitator.
