Mari Gerton (2025) Princeton (OH)
Mari is probably undersized by conventional standards, but she is far more skilled and intense than your typical guard. She shoots the ball so well. She is lights out from deep but also gets really nice midrange looks. She has big time speed that she uses so well in the open court. Mari plays with no fear, allowing her to be affective around the rim and as a defender.
Maddie Moody (2025) Archbishop Alter (OH)
Maddie is big and strong, and makes sure anyone trying to defend her knows it. She invites contact, and initiates a lot of it. She is not just a bruiser however, as she consistently shows of a smooth jumpshot. Her nonstop motor on top of all this makes her a terror on the boards and a player that stuffs the stat sheet nightly.
Kaylah Thornton (2026) Kettering Fairmont (OH)
Very talented and athletic young lady. She plays full go for 32 minutes, on both ends of the floor. Her motor on defense creates a lot of turnovers and easy points. She is not only tough to keep out of the paint, but she’s very efficient. She also looks and plays like she is really having fun and enjoys what she’s doing!
Saniyah Hall (2026) Laurel (OH)
Saniyah is an unstoppable force, she showed that today. She is so big, strong and quick, you literally can’t keep her from the rim. If you put a smaller quicker defender on her she will muscle them up. If you assign a bigger stronger defender, she will put it on the floor and beat her. When she is hitting jump shots from midrange or deeper you can forget about it. Don’t foul her because she has great touch from the line as well. With all the energy she has to spend on being dominant offensively, she still puts out max effort on the glass.
Daniya McDonald (2024) Reynoldsburg (OH)
Daniya is a very physical post presence, despite battling foul trouble she had a huge impact. She moves in the paint with purpose, quick and strong. She runs the floor very well and puts herself in position to get easy buckets. She is active on defense, staying on the glass and making any points in the paint though while she’s around.
Sa’Mahn Johnson (2025) Reynoldsburg (OH)
This young lady is electric! She showed off a vast array of offensive weapons. She showed a unique explosion to the rim where she used strength and great body control to finish well. Her jumpshot is advanced, she is consistent as a spot up shooter but also is dangerous coming off screens, or in stop in pop situations.
Joplin Yoder (2025) Hiland (OH)
Joplin showed that she can rebound with the best of them. She displayed some nice post IQ with up & under’s, nice pivots and an ability to use both hands. She also showed off solid guard skills with a few long jumpers and some nice dribble drive plays. Her diversity with back to the basket and face up game is a huge asset.
Ashley Mullet (2024) Hiland (OH)
Pound for pound one of the best players in all of Ohio. Theres no surprise why the D2 National Champion Ashland Eagles made sure she stayed close to home. She is a fabulous shooter that has deep range, is very efficient off of screens and can attack closeouts with her high IQ. She defends as hard as anyone and is much stronger than you’d think. Her handles are tight, she can handle pressure from the besrt, most athletic defenders.
