Campbell got a steal with this one! Olivia is intense and plays with such a high motor! She is an absolute nightmare on the defensive end, whether in the press, or halfcourt. She showed out on the offensive end as well, getting to the rack almost at will, and letting her silky jumper fly at all the right times. She elevated her game and her impact even more in a tight game when her backcourt partner fouled out. Olivia was the sole focus of the defense and she still made enough plays to get the win.
Toby is known for her ability to dunk across WBB platforms. We didn’t see any of those, but her ability to dominate a game was on full display. Her leaping ability to intensity alone makes her a killer on the boards, regularly elevating far above any other rebounder. Her rebound radius is out of this world, and she doesn’t give up on many boards or lose balls. She is also very tough to stop going to the basket, another product of her size, strength and athleticism. Her game is not based purely on those things though, she is very skilled and the Duke Blue Devils can’t wait to get her on campus!
Guard with a nice combination of power and speed. She’s tough to stop on straight-line drives, especially when she gets a step. Impressed with how unselfish she is. She certainly has the ability to take over games, but she doesn’t force much so that means less turnovers and bad possessions for her team.
Really like her combination of post presence and perimeter ability. She is very strong and physical, and will make defenders pay for challenging her. She also gets out and runs, she uses the same intensity to get up and down the floor, get after 50/50 balls and defend. She truly gives her all the entire game. She has really nice size and strength, and with her diversity she isn’t stuck just roaming the paint.
This guard is headed to Michigan next year and I’m sure the Wolverines can’t wait! Syla is so ridiculously skilled! She’s a lights out shooter, that can shoot with efficiency off the catch, dribble or screen. Her ability to get quick shots up is such an asset. She’s a very sure ball handler as well and can play either guard spot. She defends very hard and does everything her team needs her to win.
One of the top unsigned prospects in the country, and it’s easy to see why. Sarah has really good size and great hands. She has very good touch on her jump shot, and decent range. She showed a tendency to settle for outside shots as opposed to dominating and getting buckets inside, but her shot looks nice enough that its going to be an asset for her.
This big guard can do it all. She shoots the ball very accurately, with pure form and technique. She is over 6’ and can still put the ball on the ground and finish in a variety of ways. She doesn’t need much space to use her strength and stature to seal a defender and get baskets, often resulting in free throws. Great passer and rebounder as well, so much upside for this junior!
Advanced beyond her age physically, mentally and as a package of skills. Jordyn plays at the rim, can’t be stopped from getting to the rim and knows exactly what to do when she gets there. Her diversity of moves going to the rack is tremendous. Spin moves, euro steps, hesitations, power moves and everything in between. She always plays with poise and is never out of control or forcing the issue. She plays off the floor, and with incredible strength and body control.
Phenomenal talent that can score inside or outside. Her stroke from deep is very advanced for a player of her size, but the moment you overplay the three, she’ll go around you and create in the paint. She’s very hard to stop in transition, with a head of steam she will almost certainly get a layup. She is very comfortable playing off the floor around the rim and uses her intensity and strength to finish and get to the line quite a bit.
This future Gamecock is a ball of energy and can’t be stopped! She plays at an unmatched speed, yet still under control. Plays an elevated game off the floor, making her almost impossible to stop at the rim. She plays so intensely and full of passion, never taking any plays off. Maddy plays a lot like a former USC great, Zia Cooke, that will be a welcome sight!
