She does a really nice job leading an offense. She showed some really solid moves in her bag including a wicked crossover that is sure to break most defenders. She finishes strong inside. She has a solid jumper and is quick to follow her shot.
She will find multiple ways of getting to the basket. Whether it’s with her brute strength or her solid handles, she is a force. She does really well at staying on her feet on defense while not biting on fakes.
She is extremely athletic. She can be game changer when she decides to be aggressive. She is nearly unstoppable when running downhill. She can go by defenders with a quick burst of speed. She finishes strong around the rim, utilizing her body to protect the ball. She will consistently expose larger defenders
She does a great job of playing “big” down low. She plays great interior defense without fouling. She has a really nice pull up jumper that had her defenders running past her. She makes her assignment expend a lot of energy while attempting to get open for the ball.
Her ability to read and disrupt passes will lead to a lot of forced turnovers. She shows a lot of hustle going for loose balls. She will work extremely hard to get open. Makes hard cuts thru the lane making her a force around the basket. She maintains her verticality defending the basket really well against larger players without fouling.
Even when playing up with older and bigger girls, her vast arsenal translates. She has great court awareness and vision.While defending around the perimeter she takes away would-be passes and applies tight ball pressure. She is able to handle tight ball pressure, fighting through double teams and traps like a wet bar of soap. Her passing ability is strong, accurately guiding the ball to the shooter’s chest pocket.
Dani is a high energy player with a high basketball IQ. She impacts the game greatly with her constant hustle. She utilizes her strong frame to control the boards for her team and is quick to go back up strong with the ball on the offensive rebounds. She makes for a great target with her transition hustle and running wide down the floor. While she is a pass-first type of player, she also exposes what the defense gives her, and doesn’t hesitate to show off her smooth shot from anywhere on the floor. She is quick to go back up with offensive rebounds and will garner a lot of free throw attempts.
Love her length, and her ability to utilize that length in the paint. She isn’t a stationary score around the basket type of player. She uses great footwork, timely pivots and misdirection to leave posts swiping at air. She will change sides of the rim in the blink of an eye and finish well out of the reach of any defender.
She is a high IQ playmaker that can control the pace of the game. She is crafty with the ball and knows how to create good looks for herself and her teammates. She has a nice shooting touch from outside and is just an overall well rounded player.
