This kid is so hard nosed, but also skilled. She will stick her nose in anywhere and get the blue-collar work done. She hit some big shots, she jumped on some big rebounds, and defended on the perimeter and in the paint. True team first hard worker.
Grace is very long, yet still very strong. She is very creative off the dribble, and can pull up on a dime. She has a unique skill of being able to take, and make very high degree of difficulty shots in the midrange area. She is a very reliable shooter from deep, and often uses her length to shoot over smaller guards. She is reliable anywhere on the court, her versatility is through the roof. she can handle the ball as a point, or even guard bigs in the paint.
Emily makes her presence felt in many ways, and both ends of the court. This is one of things that drives her value way up. She can be a scorer if and when its what her team needs, as she is a great shooter and can attack off the dribble at a high level. She is a great passer as well, which is a great asset when you have three D1 guards on the floor. She plays with intesnity, communicates, defends and rebounds. Emily is just a straight up player!
Londyn has moves off the dribble, she can be unpredictable with her change of direction and shiftiness. She is also pretty strong for a guard and can use that to finish strong on straight line drives. She plays with a lot of emotion and looks like she doesn’t like to lose.
Kamie is a catalyst for this Country Day team. She will give you points every night thats for sure. She is fearless off the dribble, she can finish in traffic, or hit the runners. She is always a threat to put the ball in the rim. She’s a tough kid that plays hard all the time and doesn’t leave anything on the floor.
She was much more aggressive in Tampa than when we seen her in DC a few weeks prior. She showed her ability to score against strong competition, whether it was from the outside or off the dribble. She is a very reliable ball handler, and with her size and strength she gives her team some serious versatility.
Maddie always seemed to come up big in big moments, or when Pewaukee was in need of a spark due to the Terrian Twins drawing so much attention. She is a hustle player with good size. she hits the boards hard, always seems to find the open spots in defenses for easy baskets, and she can step out and hit open jumpers! This team isn’t the same without her.
Lourdes is a straight up powerhouse in the paint! I didn’t see a single person in Tampa that could match her power, energy or intensity on the boards. She gets after every rebound like its the last. That same intensity is used when she gets the ball down low, she will punish anyone who gets in her way! She is very good at getting the ball back on the rim after offensive rebounds as well. She runs the floor great for a post.
Tiana plays a fearless brand of baskertball and its fun to watch. She very closely resembles De’Aaron Fox in the way she plays the game. She has a quick trigger on her jumper, and can get off some tough shots that most kids can’t. She attacks the rim hard and finishes with finesse and can do some unexpected things. Complete competitor that brings it every minute she’s on the floor and doesn’t back down from anyone!
Kayla plays under control, and still finds her spots to make plays. I like her ability to shoot it, and she also isn’t afraid to put the ball on the deck and challenge interior defenders. She has the IQ and the quickness to really make life tough on whoever is guarding her. Very nice ball-handler as well that values the ball and possession.
