Shanaiya Heath (2028) Palmetto Pressure
The 5-10 wing from South Carolina has done an excellent job on the offensive boards this morning. She works hard to get position around the rim and has the motor to work through traffic to get to loose balls.

The 5-7 guard is a rangy kid with the athleticism to make eye-catching plays on the defensive end of the floor. She plays hard and doesn’t put her head down when she makes mistakes, she makes up for them. I’ve liked her motor.
The Texas native is a solid lead guard who can move the ball around the floor offensively. She plays at her own pace and finish around the rim creatively when she has to play through traffic.
The Texas native is a physical player who excels around the rim. She’s an excellent rebounder for her size and has gotten a few offensive boards in the early portions of the morning game she’s playing. She plays hard and plays taller than her listed height.
Miller is a smalller guard who wants to get her teammates involved offensively. She’s a quick kid who can push the ball up the floor and put pressure on defenses in her team’s half court offense. She plays hard whenever she’s on the floor.
The 5-9 wing is a player who can play off the ball and attack recovering defenses off the catch. She reads defenses well and can get into the paint efficiently. She compliments ball dominant guards well.
Thomas is a physical and undersized forward who competes around the rim on both ends of the floor. She digs in on the defensive end as a rebounder. I also like her footwork around the basket for an undersized frontcourt player to get space from her defender.
The 5-6 guard is a player who can change directions quickly and work her way through traffic around the rim. She plays hard and has an edge to her game. I like willingness to compete on both ends of the floor.
Davis is a smaller guard who wants to force the issue and get downhill. She can turn the corner on her defender and put pressure on the basket. However, I was impressed with her ability to rebound as a smaller guard.
The off-ball guard from Illinois is a talented floor spacer. She’s excelled against the zone defense her team is playing against and has knocked down shots from beyond the arc. She’s a kid defenses have to account for when she’s on the floor.
