2024 Roses Classic Open

Megan is a long forward with size, strength, and athleticism. She has a simple game but is super effective. Her screens are solid. She rolls to the basket and flashes to the ball effectively. In the post she fights for position, gives the passer a target and she plays strong and physical. Seems to be in the right place at the right time for loose balls or put backs off of rebounds.

Madison is a forward with size and skill. Her ability to shoot the outside shot sets her apart from a lot of players at at her position. She has the confidence to shoot it even with a player in front of her. If you close out on her with your hands down, her shot is going up. She has good size to play physical and rebound the ball. She is a willing facilitator and makes timely passes to open teammates.

Skilled forward with size and mobility. Uses her size to play physical. Handles the ball like a guard and can expose bigger defenders by taking them off the dribble. Finishes well around the rim and uses both hands efficiently. Shoots the outside shot and can heat up quickly. Rebounds and pushes the break and can operate as a point guard as well.

Floor general that sets the tone for her team. Pressures the ball, plays the passing lane, and remains active off the ball on defense. Abby plays with rhythm and can control the pace even when pressured. She attacks off the dribble, gets the ball into the paint, and sees the floor willingly as a passer. Abby catches the ball in rhythm and shoots with no hesitation. She has a smooth jumper.

A versatile forward, plays physical and can finish through contact. Does a good job using her body for inside positioning and has a good midrange jump shot. Hustles for loose ball opportunities and can hit the outside shot when left open.

High-level post player that is quick and versatile. Plays with her hands up on defense, blocking and deterring shots. She is a rim protector. Can rebound and push the ball and score in transition. She is a rim to rim runner that fights for inside position and can score over both shoulders. Active player and does her job on both ends of the ball.

She is a long forward/center with skill. She shoots the outside shot if left open. Attacks the basket and finishes at the rim. Can get physical and play through contact. Plays with passion and wants to win.

Kinley is a skilled point guard with drive, determination, and toughness. She is a floor general.  She knows how to use her shifty handles to her advantage and get into the paint and direct traffic. Defensively, Kinley is active and applies pressure on the ball. Talks on defense and leads by example. Shoots the outside shot and can attack the basket when the gaps open.

Mature player with skill. Savvy with the ball off the dribble, attacks the open gaps, and finishes at the basket. Good communicator on the back side of the defense. Maya is a mobile defender and versatile at the forward position. She can hit the outside shot, brings a winning attitude, and plays with energy on both sides of the ball.
