Emory is a dynamic guard much like her teammate Shaelyn she thrives in the open floor. She can make some tough layups through contact and she is a scrappy defender. Emory is a two-way player. Her energy on defense led to a lot of steals and her ability to run the floor helped her get a lot of easy buckets in transition.
Shaelyn Hayes is a premier guard who can score in bunches. She is lighting with the ball in her hands being able to go cost to cost in seconds. She is a three-level scorer and also has play-making abilities. Shaelyn is very fun to watch because of the plays she makes with her athleticism.
Libby is an elite point forward with a big frame. She uses her size and skills to cause problems for the defense. Libby is a great slasher attacking the defense over and over again. She can finish in traffic and over bigger players. Libby is at her best in the open court.
Layla has nice size at the center position. She is clearly taller than 6 foot. She is very active for her size. Se is able to move her feet well and challenge a lot of shots at the rim. Layla has great foot work in the post which helps her dominant in the paint. She is great at sealing her defender off in the post and that helps her teammates give her easy passes down low.
Alexie is a relentless guard. She plays hard and tough every minute she is on the floor. She is a great vocal leader talking to her teammates on defense and running the offense effectively. Alexie shows great decision making and is elite in pick-and-roll sets. She also does a good job of getting to the free-throw line and putting pressure on the defense.
Destiny is her team’s Swiss army knife. She does it all from rebounding, defending, and playing making. Anything you can do on the court, she does it. She has a very high IQ for the game. She makes winning plays like coming over from the help side and taking a charge. She is one of those players you love to coach and play with. She does all the little stuff that doesn’t pop up on the stat sheet that will help you win the game.
Gracianelle is a fantastic rebounder . She more than held her own playing against a much larger center. She has a high motor which helps her compete at an elite level. She can space the floor outside with her shooting. She is a really good leader for her team. She encourages her teammates and communicates a lot on the defensive end.
Paige can burn the laces off the net with her jumper. Her release is lightning quick. She does a great job of losing her defender when receiving a pass especially on inbound passes. She does well bodying up opponents and makes it difficult for them to advance the ball.
When she penetrates to the basket, Tess’s first step will leave defenders tied in knots like a strand of Christmas lights in November. She maneuvers through traffic with great body control. Her game is enhanced with a really nice perimeter jumper. She is a solid defender and is always quick to get on her assignment in transition.
Destini is a nice sized guard that can do a bit of everything for her team out on the floor. She is a reliable ball handler and has the quickness to blow past defenders and finish at the rim. She has a good stroke from outside. She plays with toughness. She is a good teammate always cheering from the side lines and making sure everyone stays involved and locked in.
