What a high energy kid, with length and athleticism to go with it. She defends very well. Her size and agility give her a lot of defensive diversity. She can patrol the paint, rebound, block shots and intimidate, but she can also dig in and go toe to toe on the perimeter. She runs the floor so well, giving her team a post matchup nightmare for some bigger opposing posts. She works hard inside also gets to the foul line.
This young lady got hot! She is a shooter supreme! She is someone that the defense had to key in on and know where she was at all times. They tried to defend her face to face and she still got her shots off and still made enough to keep her team in it and the bench going crazy. She is not a stand alone shooter only either, she handles it well enough to be relied on. She put the ball on the deck some as well and got to the foul line.
Asa really gets after it, she plays 94 feet, has a high motor and a nonstop energy. She has the skillset to play and defend multiple positions. She is a smooth offensive kid with a diverse game, she can shoot the ball, and she can put it on the floor. She’s a very willing passer and never forces anything. Plays with a calm demeanor and never gets too high or too low, just keeps playing hard.
This guard plays an exciting type of basketball, and she is very advanced with her handles. She has the ball on a string and does things with it that can kind of make you say wow. It’s not that it’s super showy, but she’s always in command of the ball and uses that skill great when dribbling through traffic. She can go in amongst the trees and keep the ball moving with low dribbles, and beat any press by herself. She’s also an advanced scorer with a great shot and the slashing ability to score in an instant.
Lots to love about this young lady but the most of all might be her willingness to be blue collar. She is big and strong, and a solid athlete, and she uses all of that to make so many hustle plays and do the dirty work that most will not. She finds a body on every shot, she chases down long rebounds, get son the floor and just does an all around great job of putting it all on the floor. Constant competitor that every coach can appreciate.
Even at a young age, Janaya is a bonafide high flyer! Not only does she fly around and swoop up lots of rebounds, but her team is able to routinely throw her lob passes off the baseline inbounds. She is skilled enough to catch these mid air and finish, every time. Her athleticism is off the charts, she is a flash moving up and down the court. She still very young, and as her skills develop, look out!
Rayan excels because she has a very high IQ, court awareness and feel for the game. She has really good handles, she often attacks the baseline where she is really good at creating chaos. Whether it’s finishing, getting to the foul line or a baseline dish, she seems to make the baseline a part of her game. She is an advanced shooter that has a quick release and smooth stroke. She has a strong build that really helps her off the dribble when she gets in the paint.
Love this young ladies energy, she slashes and dashes with ease and just keeps creating! She can create for herself or others. She gets to the line so often, and she makes really great decisions off the dribble as she’s always looking for drop offs or kick outs. She is not going to the rim with only the intention to score. She’s a very sneaky defender as well, she’ll get after the ball, but also sneak a surprise steal in the full court when the inbounder is least expecting it.
A high energy post that will literally do anything to get a rebound. She can body people or fly around with a big rebounding radius. It doesn’t take opponents long to realize they do not want to get in her way when she’s on a rebounding mission. She will literally punish anyone who competes with her. She is also a solid on ball defender that stays active with her feet and hands and refuses to let anyone beat her.
Paige is a very shifty PG! She has an already advanced change of direction and change of speed at a young age. She is smooth to the basket, she can finish at the rack, or pull up with some finesse and score on the run. She is calm with the ball, but can really get moving if she needs to. She doesn’t force anything and plays very well with a high level big because she understands passing angles and how to be an effective post entry passer.
