Newby is as well rounded of a forward as you will see from this age. She can do it all for her team; shoot, handle, score inside, and rebound. Her versatility creates a lot of mismatches for the other team defensively. Sophia will draw bigs out of the paint and post up smaller guards. She has a great face up game and makes some absolutely gorgeous swing passes to set up her teammates.
Riley has a good sized frame, runs the floor well, and uses her physicality to play tough on both ends of the floor. She boxes out and knows how to use her body to get good position in the post.
Maci is so balanced for her size and runs gracefully on her feet. She has quick reflexes and looks to be a step ahead of most of the kids her age. Her timing is excellent as a shot blocker and she uses her length to play the passing lanes with good anticipation. Haas finishes under the rim and is quick to go back up with the shots that she misses.
A great shooting touch for her age, Robinson is automatic from the corner. She is reliable as a ball handler and uses her dribble effectively to get to her spots. Sees the floor well as a facilitator and leads her teammates with crisp passes for easy buckets. Weslee has good fundamentals on defense and makes her opponents work hard for everything they get against her.
A beast on the boards, Ivey is a high energy player that thrives off the use of her instincts and athleticism. Using her long arms, she applies great pressure as an on ball defender, blocks shots inside, and bats passes away from their intended target. Paige gets aggressive when scoring around the basket and isn’t scared of creating contact and getting to the free throw line.
A smart playmaker who continuously makes the right decisions with the ball in her hands. Maya is a well rounded guard that does a little bit of everything for her team on offense. She has great lateral movement while sliding her feet defensively.
Isabeth is a young player with good basketball IQ. She made good passes against pressure and often found the open teammate. She can score when called upon but facilitating and defense is her game.
Aleigh is a really solid defender, having the ability to stay in front of defenders on or off the ball. Her hands are really fast to tip the ball away from ball handler. She shows talent and skill on the other end as well.
Whitney Schmidt is a fiercely tough guard, who can create a lane to the rim with her great footwork including her lightning fast first step. Her toughness and strength makes her nearly unstoppable once she gets her momentum started. She’s consistently dishes crisp passes to her teammates.
With her high arching jumper, Addison can shoot out the lights at any given time. When closely guarded she does a nice job of creating space with her jab step. She plays well when pressured, maintaining good ball control. Her overall passing game is really solid, but her interior passes are elite, as she manages to get the ball to her bigs down low quickly. She also throws precision lead-passes to cutters.
