Is a smooth off the ball player that can make plays. He is a sniper from deep but he also makes highlight passes. Defensively he is all over the place and can contain the basketball. Jack is a true two way player and will be a force in the future.
Luke is a smooth guard. He has nice touch from long range and good shooting form. He is not just a shooter however he facilitates to his team very well, always finding the open person.
Jayden has good size for a middle schooler. His length at a young age, allows him to create plays in the paint and finish over smaller defenders. Defensively he gets his hands on a lot of shots and alters a lot of layups at the rim. He will be a good defender moving forward.
A small shifty guard with good handles. Da’Mani has a great first step and can beat his defender with ease. Defensively, he denies along the perimeter and gets a lot of chances in transition with his team because of it.
Anthony is another stud from this Island organization. Much like his teammates he is a great slasher and facilitator of the basketball. He always makes the extra pass to set up a teammate. Saturday night he was part of the highlight show with multiple dunks and tough finishes in transition.
Not only is she skilled, but she’s gotta all the extra intangibles you just can’t teach. Zoe is a natural leader that keeps everybody involved and on the same page. Provides a spark for her team with the energy she radiates on and off the floor. On the court she’s a pass-first guard with a crafty handle. Shows good footwork as a scorer and knows how to get to her spots. Uses her strong frame to fight for position and battle for rebounds.
Thompson mixes it up well and does a lot for her team on both ends of the floor. She’s a reliable playmaker that reads the floor well and generally makes the right play when the ball is in her hands. Possesses a stronger frame for a guard and doesn’t shy away from taking a few bumps and playing physical. Active rebounder, finishes strong inside, and spaces the floor from deep.
A slasher that will slice and dice through the defense off the dribble. She’s got good vision as a playmaker and knows how to get to her spots for easy buckets. She is a hustler and plays the game the right way.
Nice mix of size and athleticism, gets down hill fast and will take it coast to coast off the rebound. Plays hard and is everywhere on the court. A good defender with great timing as a shot blocker.
